Co-operation between Semtation GmbH and ConVista Consulting AG
One of the objectives of the ConVista Consulting AG and Semtation GmbH partnership will be to provide new solutions for reference model based business process modelling.
The focus of this co-operation will be to develop a modelling tool to facilitate the effective implementation and optimum integration of business requirements when implementing SAP applications.
Based on both the C-ENS business engineering approach and SemTalk, a modelling tool developed by Semtation GmbH, the new tool will allow process modelling to be derived from the reference model. The central Sem Talk repository, and the ConVista reference model facilitate quick and homogenous process modelling as well as the development of a process portal that supports business departments and provides them with a knowledge base.
“This differs from traditional modelling tools as C-ENS focuses on the business reference model. SemTalk supports this approach and this will enable us consolidate our many years experience into reference models, which can then be made available to our customers. This will allow us to achieve significantly better quality and greater efficiency throughout the implementation,” commented Norbert Schroeder, Managing Partner at Convista Consulting AG.
