ConVista Spain enters the Top Ten of the best small and medium enterprises (SME) to work in Spain

ConVista achieved ninth place in the ranking of Best Workplaces SME 2011 (small and medium enterprises) in Spain. More than 30 companies from 20 to 49 employees participated in the ranking.

The ceremony took place at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid on the 30th November 2011. The Best Place to Work SME awards took place for the first time and were held in partnership with DKV insurance.

The event was attended by Human Resources directors and managers of the participating enterprises, mostly young companies dedicated to the field of new technologies. Marta Garcia and Martin Dietz were the representatives of ConVista Spain.

The rating system consists of two parts. Two-thirds of the score is based on a questionnaire filled out by employees in terms of satisfaction and motivation in their workplace. The remaining third part is based on internal processes that are provided by the companies with regard to communication, professional development, special benefits, recognition etc... A good position in the ranking of the best SME to work in Spain is a quality mark for a company considering the recognition by both its current employees and future candidates.

During the event, Nicolás Méndez Ramilo, Director of the Great Place to Work Institute in Spain, emphasized that the best places to work result from the daily experiences shared by the employees, and not so much from programs and benefits provided by the companies.

"This study highlights the relationship that employees have with the management and with their colleagues. To be considered part of a team is important for a good working environment and generates a great satisfaction. We are very proud to have a great team and grateful to be able to see that this good position in the ranking reflects the philosophy of ConVista. We are convinced that with our effort, enthusiasm and expertise we will still climb up the ranking and remain a Best Place to Work for many years, "says Marta Garcia, Head of HR ConVista Spain.
