ConVista publishes a field report on NewGL

The article „ConVista Field Report - New General Ledger in SAP ERP“ will appear at the beginning of 2010 within the SAP-standard work „The New General Ledger in SAP ERP Financials“ of the SAP Press. The authors are Oliver Kewes (Managing Partner) and Samuel Gonzalez (Senior Consultant).

This completely updated and enlarged second edition covers all important subjects regarding an implementation of the new general ledger. Conception and specification of the ledgers are treated as well as the integration into accounting, parallel GAAP`s accounting and document splitting. An extensive chapter handles the migration from the classic to the new general ledger. Emphasis is placed on highlighting migration challenges in practice and providing the user with valuable hints for their own project. Services, scenarios and the migration cockpit are explained in detail. Beyond that the second edition contains new content for the IFRS changeover in the USA and the enhancement packages 3 and 4.

Since the beginning of the introduction of the New General Ledger in SAP ERP Financials, ConVista is recognized as an international and branch-covering forerunner within its implementation. Since the first productive installation of SAP ERP 5.0 the enterprise accompanied numerous customers with product launch- and migration projects.
