Implementation of SAP FS-CD stages I-II across the organization

Replacement of the existing collections solution for all three life insurance products in 3 phases

The phased implementation of SAP FS-CD for life insurance products increased the efficiency of payment processing. The objective was to change the existing process, which included several manual processes, and to achieve a high degree of automation based on an innovative application platform.

• Phase I: integration of claims payments and foreign travel insurance

(collections, disbursements, reporting), excluding migration.

• Phase II: enhancement of claims payments: pension payments, transfer of

additional policies with claims payments via a migration from the claims

administration system, implementation of premium collections for individual

life insurance (direct collections) with co-insurance (insurers business),

implementation of life (direct collections), excluding Riester pensions and other

speciality business.

• Phase III: a new project was initiated, due to the merger of HDI and Gerling.
