60 million salary payments in 90 minutes

ADP is one of the largest American providers of payroll services. The goal was to optimize the processing logic for weekly salary payments to 60 million people. One of the major challenges was the processing of huge volumes of data within the given time frame. The requirement was to process 60 million salary payments in 90 minutes. The technology implemented included the SAP components FS-CD, BCA, Cash Management and Business Warehouse. The implementation project was completed successfully in 34 months.
