WHO ARE WE?

ConVista´s development is characterised by growth in many different areas.

Our service portfolio is based on our knowledge in the disciplines of processes, technology and methodology. This solid foundation forms the basis on which we constantly expand and develop the services offered by ConVista Consulting AG.

Since we were established in Germany in 1999, we have consistently grown on an international level. In just ten years we have gone from one to fourteen offices, located in eleven different countries. The ConVista headcount is also continuing to grow. We now have more than 300 employees worldwide.

2009

ConVista arrives in Spain and Portugal

ConVista now operates in southern Europe thanks to a merger with Fact S.L. Spain. The consulting company is a market leader on the Iberian Peninsula in SAP TRM implementations within all industries and FAM (CFM) in the insurance industry. This merger has enabled both organisations to consolidate their SAP competences effectively.

2008

Enhanced Service Portfolio

In addition to SAP Insurance, the range of services for insurers is complemented by ALICE. ConVista and msg are currently implementing ALICE at Daimler Financial Services. As well as specialising in insurance, ConVista also focuses on the utilities industry. E.ON and RheinEnergie are amongst our clients. There are now over 210 employees at ConVista.

2007

Company Established in Eastern Europe

In 2007 ConVista´s growth continues. More than 150 people are employed by ConVista worldwide. ConVista taps into the booming eastern European market, basing its new subsidiary in Slovakia.

2006

ConVista in Asia

Growth continues. In terms of employees, there are now more than 100 consultants for the first time. Following initial discussions in Tokyo, Bangalore and Singapore, plans for future activities in Asia begin to emerge. ConVista already starts to work together on projects with co-operation partners.

2005

Setting Up a South African Subsidiary

Whilst the focus of global business at the beginning of the 21st Century was firmly fixed on Asia, ConVista opens its South African subsidiary. Consultants working for ConVista were part of one of the largest commission projects in the world.

2004

10 million Euro turnover

Following a very weak economic year in the European markets, the demand for consulting services in 2004 increases significantly. The more mature and developed products from SAP for insurance supports this trend. Turnover hits the 10 million mark.

2003

Subsidiary established in Great Britain

Another large project in Scotland encourages ConVista to open a subsidiary in Great Britain in 2003. It quickly becomes obvious that even the very specific British processes within the insurance industry can be mapped into SAP using suitable project solutions. Standard BACS payments and Year-of-Account based reporting were implemented for a Lloyds Syndicate in London.

2002

Conversion from a limited company to a public listed company

Strong corporate growth and the fight to acquire the best people are a couple of the reasons the parent company was converted from a limited company to a public listed company in December 2002. This decision enabled many employees to acquire ConVista shares.

2001

International marketing of industry solutions

Thanks to the international marketing of industry solutions by SAP, a hive of activity for industry experts emerged, particularly in the United States. Based on this knowledge, ConVista Consulting was established in the USA in 2001. The close collaboration with SAP enabled us to complete large projects very early on. Some of the first customers were Allstate, GWL, ADP and AT&T.

2000

ConVista office opened in Zurich

Even in the year 2000 ConVista was expanding. A public listed company was formed in Switzerland, in order to adequately handle the increase in demand for expertise. The organisational model was built on the same concept as the German parent company. The Swiss company was then organised and managed on a partnership basis.

1999

Establishment of ConVista

ConVista Consulting was established in 1999. The main idea was to combine technical consulting with business knowledge, in order to help our customers maximise the benefits. Based on SAP technology, our consulting services focused on processes within the insurance industry. One of the basic principles of the company founders was the financial independence of the company.
