Integrated Management of Financial Instruments

In line with the group SAP strategy, Iberdrola chose to implement SAP components CFM (i.e. TRM and CML) for the management of its financial instruments. The first step was to determine the requirements fit of the standard software.

This project was carried out in co-operation with SAP. The next project was the implementation of a solution which was tailored to the customer's needs. Additionally, customer-specific functionality was developed and a large volume of data was migrated from the legacy system. As well as interfacing to BW, which would allow the creation of standardized reporting across the group, the supply of market data was automated, which allowed the currency rates and prices to be centralized for the whole group.
