Integration of Test and Error tracking in the development of SAP Add-Ons
To support ConVista’s software development of add-ons for SAP standard modules efficiently, a professional test management and error handling system has been developed using the Solution Manager as its strategic platform. To test new products, test plans are created and test cases are assigned to respective testers. The Solution Manager is used as a starting point for their work. Results are documented directly in the test case and are available for analysis by the Test Manager at any time. Error messages are opened directly in the SAP-GUI with a double-click and assigned to a co-ordinator. The co-ordinator gets the message first then forwards to the developer according to the content and information automatically provided by the Solution Manager.
