Release upgrade from Enterprise 4.7 to ERP 6.0 of the systems S01/S02 and R01

Objective of the release upgrade was to receive a simplification and consolidation of the system landscape. It did not deal with the use of new functionalities. A technical upgrade including Unicode changeover was realized.

With a project expenditure of 835 man-days internal/external the three systems had been reduced by 10 clients and successfully changed over to Unicode.

One of the greatest challenges was that besides the upgrade project the daily business had to be supported. This had to be considered in the temporary system landscape and also in the test landscape.

The modules SAP FI/CO, MM, HR, CML and FS-CD were changed over.
