ConVista is a "Great Place to Work”

ConVista is one of the best employers in Germany - this was the result once again of the independent research and consulting institute Great Place to Work.

In total, we received three awards: 11th place nationwide, 4th place in North Rhine-Westphalia and 23rd place as an employer in the digital industry. We competed in the size category 251 to 500 employees.

"This is a great award for our corporate culture!" says Johanna Weber from the People & Culture Team at ConVista, who is thrilled about the awards. She says it is nice when the attractiveness of the workplace and the pleasant climate are independently confirmed once again. "We are measuring ourselves against the best there."

In the foreground: the opinion of the colleagues

The assessment was based on an anonymous survey of ConVista Germany colleagues on topics such as leadership, trust, recognition, identification, team spirit, development, compensation and work-life balance. Three quarters of the results were included in the report. For the fourth quarter, the institute took a close look at our corporate culture. In addition to the annual surveys for the competition, we also evaluate our managers and internal services in parallel each time.

ConVista achieved outstanding results in the areas of responsibility, trust and freedom, among others. 94 percent of respondents confirmed that managers trust their employees to do a good job without constantly checking up on them. 92 percent said they could take time off when they felt it was necessary. And 91 percent attested to ConVista's work atmosphere where they could be themselves and did not have to pretend.

Room for feedback, praise and ideas

"We really appreciate these surveys, they are an excellent feedback tool," says Johanna Weber. Many employees use the opportunity to contribute concrete ideas for shaping the corporate culture - or even to express praise. For example, one recent comment said: "Fast switch to mobile working without interruptions during Corona". Someone else wrote: "The collaboration and cohesion are something special. No one is left alone in case of professional or private problems."

ConVista participated in the competition for the 14th time this year and was also awarded for the 14th time. In 2021, 684 companies took part in the category "Germany's best employers", 100 were awarded - differentiated according to six size categories. The nationwide competition for the "Great Place to Work" award has been running since 2002 and aims to identify the quality and attractiveness of companies as employers and recognize special achievements in this field.
